About Us

What we do

Scouting is about preparing young people with skills for life and prepares our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, leaders and volunteers with teamwork, leadership and resilience skills.

We believe in bringing people together. We celebrate diversity and stand against intolerance, always. We’re part of a worldwide movement, creating stronger communities and inspiring positive futures.

We run weekly sessions and regular camps for our group providing an exciting programme of activities .

Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart.

It's exciting being involved with us. We believe that through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives and meet life long friends.

our history

The Scout Group has been serving the local community for nearly 70 years and as the local community has grown over recent years, we’ve been proud to serve local children. We have a well-founded reputation among community members and our all-inclusive nature really does stretch across all communities, races and religions.
